DRAWING CRAZE
Whelp this summer the drawing bug has certainly taken a bit chunk out of me, LoL. I've been drawing like crazy. I can't say it's a bad thing. More just a tiring thing I guess. Not as young as I used to be, LoL. Jeez, I already sound old.

THE DARK KNIGHT
I must say that this has been a summer of comic book movie hits! I've seen Iron Man and thought it was an awesome movie, but then I saw The Dark Knight and I was FLOORED! The movie was awesome and Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was indeed very memorable. I indeed hope they honor him with the nomination for an Oscar, eventhough he has passed. That will truly be a way to remember such a great actor.

Wow, I really CANNOT believe how long it has been since I've left a journal here. At least I am still updating with my art, which I do sincerely hope that you all are enjoying . Anyways, without much further ado, here are the headlines:

GRAJUMANATED!!!
Wooooooo! Yes people! I have graduated an I now have upon my person, an A.A. Degree in the field of English! Yes! Look upon me and become jealous with jealousy >. But in all seriousness, it was a lot of fun and I got to hang out with my family and my girlfriend! Here's a pic: [link] I know, I know! I look a little sleepy eyed, but I swear I wasn't drunk .

AS OLD AS THE ROCK OF AGES
Yes my friends, it is true. I have aged ANOTHER year. It seems my anti-aging syrum isn't working. Argh! I knew it shouldn't come in a Ms. Buttersworth bottle. Anyways, I am now 27 and already my bones are aching. LoL.

Whelp! I am shocked but I have reached over 4,000 PAGEVIEWS!!!! Yay me! Woooo! I promise when I get to 4,500, I will try to have another contest.

Hey everybody! Long time no type! Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted a journal on here. I guess that I just haven't had that much to say really. I'm going on, day by day and making strides in my life. It's almost scary how my positive steps I've currently take but I guess that it has been something I have always wanted to do. Anyways, here's the headlines...

THE SILVER HEADLINES

STILL WITH MY SILVERY GIRLFRIEND
Yup! It's been almost a year and I am STILL with my girlfriend. Her and I have been having a blast and things couldn't be better. I truly love her very much and the feeling is more than returned.

FIRST THE LIBRARY, THEN THE WORLD!!
Well it only took years and years but I have FINALLY got a promotion at my library. I'm now an assistant supervisor and am currently enjoying the drunken power trip I get every night. Mwa hahahahaha! Even now I have a worker fanning me with one of our more flimsey books .

"CAPE" AND GOWN
So, I'm FINALLY graduating in May and all I have to say is that I really think they should change the attire from a Cap and Gown, to a CAPE and Gown! I mean, how AWESOME would that be to walk up, accept your degree from the dean, and walk away with a vibrant cape flapping in your stead? I mean, I think it would be a good idea.

NEW CONTEST!!!!!!

Hey all! I've decided to put up a new contest to get my art skills pumping. Below, I shall post a poem I wrote. The contest is that I want you to tell me what the poem is about. The first person to respond to this journal with the correct answer will get a free drawing or poem (your choice) from me that I shall post on here. Sound good? Okay, here is the poem:

Over my head, the sheets are drawn high up
And they are the first my waking eyes see.
Blinded by a shade of brilliant, blurry
White, I recoil like a newborn pup.
But steadily overhead, the hues soften,
And the white linen ebbs into pale blue.
That cascade of serenity that comes
With this color, that feeling of calm and
Safety won’t last though. The sheet’s cut on cue.
It bleeds and stains through, and my heartstrings strum.
The fierce red darkens…darkens in its last
Breath until the blanket above dyes…black.
Though covered in dark, I fret not. The vast
Sheet is holey with lights…not all pitch-black.

Oh my GOD! Hey people! It has been like SO long since I've really typed anything on here. How is everyone one? I'm actually doing okay right now. I feel good, I feel strong, I feel like I'm finally going to accomplish somethings. Anyways, a LOT has happened in the past few months and of course that can only be addressed appropriately in the SILVER HEADLINES...

A SILVERY GIRLFRIEND
OMG it is completely true. We met about two years ago in an English class at my college. We became friends that that just developed into feelings for each other. Was all very cool, and a little unfamilar to me, but very cool. As of now, for the past two and a half months, we have been boyfriend and girlfriend. Total shocker isn't it? Anyways, things are going very well and we are both very happy.

ROAD RAGE
Oh and I'm FINALLY learning how to drive. How awesome? I hope to get my license very soon like in the next couple of months. Yay! Now I just need to figure on how to get a car, LoL.

WALKING FOR MY EDJUMAKATION
I'M FINALLY GRADUATING! That's right peeps! I'm finally getting my AA in English this coming May. Wooo! Sooo gunna dance, which I never do, LoL.

Hey peeps! Been a long time since I wrote a journal so I just wanted to let you all know that I am back from SPRING BREAK and still writing. I've just been swamped with a lot of school work and drawing ideas, LoL. I hope everyone is doing well and I want to thank you all for stopping by! Anyways, onto the headlines!

Well, as you all can prolly guess from my DevID, I have a "gallery" at my work, LoL. My supervisor is a big fan of my work and she taped up a bunch of my pictures in the library staff break area, to make the area look nice, LoL. Anyways, below are a couple of pics that she took of it and me:

GONE CLUBBING
I know the title seems suspicious but NO, I do NOT mean Seal Clubbing, that's just evil. What I'm talking about is that I went out to this place called the Cat Club in West Hollywood on the 17th! Was AWESOME! I went to see a friend, Sara Routh, perform some songs and she was great! I'd seen her perform before but then it was only a couple songs. That night she played like five or six great songs. Sara is soooo nice and talented. STRONGHOLD BLUES
Well, currently I am wrapped up trying to sketch a 2007 version of my character, Stronghold ([link]) and surprisingly he is turning out difficult to sketch. I don't know if my drawing mojo is lacking or maybe I'm just psyching myself out. It's prolly because that character means a lot to me and trying to improve on him just becomes diffult. Oh well, all I know is that I can just keep trying and hope that inspiration will eventually reach me .
